Politics and the People Module Code: PO-119
This module addresses some of the central issues of how we – the people – relate to politics. As technological change gathers pace and governments seem more remote, how is the people’s voice to be heard? So that you can formulate your own answers to these pressing questions you will be enabled to compare the role of people in the politics of democratic, authoritarian, developed and developing states. You will also find out about the ways in which political participation, political culture and political parties shape the ability of people to influence politics.
