Taught Masters

The Department is well aware of the increasing financial pressures on students at all levels and we do everything possible to support postgraduate research students. In addition to numerous opportunities for financial support a the University level, the department offers the following funding opportunities.

 

For Research Students 

  • Suitably qualified research students may be offered Teaching Assistantships worth up to £1000 per year

  • Research students may apply for research support or conference attendance of up to £400 per year

For Taught Masters Students

  • The Department of Politics and International Relations offers bursaries of £1500 each
  • The International Office also offers bursaries of £1,000
